I have a year and a half male bishon and he has been marking everything in my house including the comforters on our beds, the couch cushions. Will having him neutered resolve this issue?

I have only had the dog a couple of months thus we didnt have him as a puppy to neuter him at a younger age.

Do you pee on everything? Were you nuetered as a baby? I guess it does help, doesn't it!

Having him neutered a year ago probably would have prevented this behaviour from occuring at all. Neutering now will still likely help, but by this point, it has also become a behaviour for him that he is used to doing. Get him neutered and start his training over again like he is a puppy. You can tether him to you (tie his leash to your belt loop) so you can watch him all the time.

Don't worry, he's just marking his territory. Or he's marking all the things in the house he can't screw, but the couch cushions might be something else. Having him neutered may help.

Don't neuter him, he'll be EXTREMELY lazy for no reason. Well basically, he'll feel like he has no reason to live after losing the "instinct" after being neutered.

He'll stop eventually if he gets used to peeing outside only. Trust me, my dog ain't neutered and he never does this stuff.
