I am using Yahoo Messenger for MAC and would like to remove a login from my available Yahoo ID's. I cannot simply delete it or cut it from my list, and uninstalling and re-installing the program does not remove it from my list either. Do you know how to permanently remove it from my list?

Hi there...type in the word "yahoo" in the finder search (move your mouse onto a blank area of the desktop and click once then you'll see the Finder quoted in the upper left hand corner next to the blue apple). It will pull up everything with the word Yahoo in it. Delete all of those files before doing a new reinstall. There's a simpler way to do it from within Yahoo Messenger, but it doesn't always work so this other way is a workaround

Close Yahoo Messenger and delete the plist file (com.yahoo.messenger3.plist) located in your user folder > Library > Preferences. You can use finder to search for it. Start up Yahoo Messenger again, and it will re-create the plist file, and you will have to change all your settings back to normal.
