It is used to blow a greater area of you hair with a lesser ammount of pressure. It can be used for curling your hair because then you dont flatten the curls out. This works great for when you scrunch your hair and then use it.

it scatters the heat from the dryer to a broader area, so you don't have a "burning center" and colder air around that blow area. It 'diffuses' the heat evenly.

The diffuser helps the air go in a wider direction so the heat doesn't just hit one spot and cause frizzies.

it diffuses the air around a wider space so it doesn't blow the curl out and make it frizzy like a direct flow of air would do

It spreads out the heat. Without a diffuser, the heat is concentrated all on one spot.

The defuser if most commonly used for a soft drying of curly or permed hair. It spreads the heat out over larger area. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

It's used to dry curly or wavy hair. It cuts down on the wind speed, but not the heat from the blowdryer, so it won't blow curly hair straight!

Spreads the air out so it is not concentrated in one spot. Helps dry more hair with less of the blown look, very useful for small curls and waves.

Used for blow drying curly hair. I like to flip my head upside down and scrunch it with the blowdryer, up and down. Always use the cool setting when drying your hair curly.
