Could it be that I am teeing the ball up too high? Is it my swing? For some reason I keep popping the tee shot up in the air for little or no distance....

You may want to try this with your 3 wood first. Don't push down with your right arm. That is if your right handed. Left you left arm be you power source. Make sure you right elbow does not fly. Pretend like you have a towel or something in your arm pit and you don't want it to drop. Practice just hitting the tip ot the tee without the ball. When you take the club back keep it low to the ground you do not want a steep swing.

You are swinging under the ball, meaning it is teed too high. Here's a tip to help you know how high to tee it: With your clubhead set up at address, tee the ball so that the ball is showing a little less than halfway above the top of your driver.

Keep a strong grip on your driver. Make solid impact when coming down. Dont try to swing to fast.

Try using smaller tee's depending on the size you are using now. Just take a few practice swings and feel confident when approaching a tee shot.

I used to do that too. I teed the ball lower and it seemed to work. Trust me. I used to shoot 50-53 on a par 3 coarse, but when I lowered the tee I now shot a 43-45 on the par three.

make sure you just hit the ball and not the tee. That might be because you have an uppercut swing too.

Try teeing the ball lower for a start.

If that doesn't help try moving the ball towards the center of your stance more.

Or just go to the driving range, and practice, practice, practice.

2 things - tee the ball lower and stand closer to the ball - even if your ball is teed up low, you can still swipe the end through the ball and it will sky - line up the ball with the shaft or between the shaft and the middle of the driver and you're ready

Tee is too high. Lower it, take the top of the grass with your swing.
