Try adoption:
http://www.phoenixlanding.org/

http://www.fosterparrots.com/

These are 2 rescues that are on the East Coast. Both are wonderful Parrot Rescues and they would be so happy to help you find an African Grey that would be a wonderful addition to your home.
There are hundreds and hundreds of parrots that have been displaced from their homes due to unforeseen things that come up... their human companion dies, (that's how I ended up adopting one of my Greys....) there is a divorce, a sudden change in the family, any number of things can get a parrot into a situation where they have no home. It's shame because they have no say in the matter and it isn't their fault.
Some of the situations would break your heart. And these little guys just want to go home to someone who will love them.
All the birds up for adoption have been Vet checked.
Please give them a try.
Thank you

also try:
www.birdsnway.com
www.birdmart.com
www.aviary.info
You will more than likely find one that is around your area but keep in mind that most breeders do ship. It's running about $125.00.
I'm going to get a pair of congos at the end of the year. I currently breed SI eclectus parrots but I want to do greys as well...actually I have 2 male babies that are almost ready to go and one that just hatched out a week ago. We have a timneh african grey that has been with us for about 10 years..they are quite amazing birds.

Good luck!
