I recently went on a venture to get a straightener to, you know, straighten my hair. So I wanted to get a new one (I have one for dry that works great, but I wanted one for wet) and was looking at the drugstore. It was between the Remington Wet-to-Straight and a Vidal Sassoon one. Naturall, I chose Vidal Sassoon because it was fancy sounding. Lol. Well, it doesn't work on my hair.

Does the Wet-to-Straight work? Anyone else had problems with the Vidal Sassoon one? My fingers are burnt to a crisp. Ouch.

I have it but don't try to use it when it's wet because even though they say you can, don't. It kills your(even though it's already dead). Your hair will be dried out and it will feel disgusting all day.

I'm not sure about the Remington one, but try the Maxiglide, you may have seen it on a tv infomercial. I know usually things sold on tv are crap but this really works well. I actually bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond, I think they also sell it at Linens and Things. Anyway it works really well, one brush through with the straightener and my hair is perfectly straight and soft. It is a dry straightner but it uses steam too.

i hate the wet to dry. try a chi flat iron from a salon. they are a little more expensive, but WELL worth the money.
