This boy I really like really likes me back..my mom won't let me see him because she doesn't like his step mother.....And i agree with her.Even the boy dislikes his step mom.But he has to live there with his dad..his real mom is no good either. mama says that who knows how he might be influenced by his stepmom.But i know for a fact that he is a good person and that he totally disaproves of the woman his dad married. He wants to date me..I told him I would think about it because I didn't want to hurt him by saying no or telling him that mama won't let me because she thinks he is not a good person.and also because I don't want to disobey my ma.I don't want to miss the oportunity but I can't keep him on hold much longer..we really like eachother but my ma won't hear me out...what to do??

take youre mama and the man uot to a nice dinner. she will see how he really acts and you will get an answer that night.

why not ask you mama if he could come over to your house and give her a chance to get to know him. when i was dating...........back in the dark ages,,,before my dad would let me go out with a guy, he had to come to the house several times and be with my family. then if he survived my dad, and still wanted to date me, daddy would let me.
maybe after he comes over some, your mom will realize that he's not like his family and she'll approve of you dating him.

Try going allowing your mom to go out on a date with him if he gets you back home by a certain time. As long as your mom feels comfortable where she can monitor him and that guy understands why your mom has her reservations, you should be able to work it out.

It depends on your age, you sound fairly young still, maybe your should listen to your mother. However, sometimes parents are wrong. Tell your mom that you would like for her to give him a chance and not to judge him by his stepmother. Maybe she will like him too. GOOD LUCK!

Ask him to put on his 'Sunday suit' AND his best manners, and come 'crooning'. Repeated politeness usually wins over. This could take several months, though.
Make sure he isn't flat! (LOL!)
