well if you can't make your own decision and trust your own judgment I don't think you are that mature, oh yeah and especially if you are asking other people what they think. It shouldn't matter what other people think about your life

Well, if you say that you are mature, then only you know how old you want you man to be. Only you would know what you consider appropriate and not, because they would be you values. Using what I believe, I would say that you are okay being 8-9 years apart. Makes for an interesting relationship, and allows you two to be different because of such an age different.

Of course not but be aware that there will be differences in your interests... I am 47 but currently dating a 28 yr old female, The age difference is no problem but I do find it difficult to communicate at certain levels.

no way...I am 24 and my sweetie is 32. I have been involved with older men than him. It is all about the maturity levels of the persons in the relationship. He could be too immature for you despite the fact that he older. try it and see how it works. he could be your future husband you never know. good luck!!!!

No, when you are 67 and she is 32 then yes...perverted in my book.
or 14 and he's 20, perverted in my book.
if you like him go for it , if not don't, women are different then men and have a more tendency to cheat and have more then one partner, like him go for it.
