Good question rightly started with that big word "if".
It seems no one did directly answer it. For me based on the assumed position with the word "if" and from the view that Jew is a religion, the need is fulfilled. Now if one sees the Jew as other than a religion such as a class or national status then one may see that God needs a religion and again may not see it as such.
Would not part of the proper answer be held in how you do define God? Does God in your opinion have any needs at all? Can a religion be classified as a need or a desire?
My friend i do think one would not be very wise if he did answer this question without more information as to exactly what you are asking. I can only answer it based on fixed in place assumptions on my6 part and I am of course not sure if such was your mind set when you did ask it.
Do have a good day and clear up those points unless you just wanted to express an opinion. If that be the case, you did that.

Jesus isn't god and he isn't a jew.
There was an almighty God and he created another spirit creature to live with him. billions of years ago. Col 1:15 and Rev. 3:14 says Jesus is the beginning of his creations by him and through him all other things were created in the heavens and the earth. Stephen saw the heavens opened up and there was jesus sitting at the right hand of god.
Rev says the same thing.
Jesus is not in a human body anymore but he is an angel in a spirit body. So it is neither flesh and blood.
the bible says flesh and blood cannot inherit the heavens.
God doesn't need a religion but he does have certain guide lines for humans so we won't hurt ourselves or others.
that way should be the truth about God. Not seeped in lies and half truths. It should point people to serving god in the right way.
Even little lies are harmful. the original sin was a lie.

Religion is a man made doctrine which God does not need because there are more of them out there than anyone knows what to do with. The trinity was introduced after the second century and it is not biblically accurate. In my bible it states Jesus Christ as the Son of God and not God himself.

Jesus is God and he was a Jew because that was the religion of God's chosen people, so when he was alive on earth, he followed that religion, God doesn't need a religion, Jesus is no longer Jewish, he is just God.
