He's teething. It will pass but stock up on chewies and rawhide. Put a peice of metal or wood over the area that he likes. There is a saying about puppys. They poo and they chew. Give him time and don't forget his parents were of very smart breeds so don't be surprised if he tries to get around barriers or out fox you in one way or the other. Good luck.

Giving him away is not the answer. There could be two reasons for this behaviour. Your dog is trying to get your attention, perhaps he thinks that this will get your attention. If you see him do this, by pulling him away he will think it is a game. Try ignoring him or even better try and take his attention away from it by getting another toy to play with. Eventually, he will lose interest in the wall and gain more interest in the toy.

If he is doing this while you are away. Try to find some sprays that repel the dog for the wall. I know there is such a thing for cats. A similiar product may exist for dogs.

If these don't work. Try a pet trainer or obidence courses. But do it quick. The longer you leave it, the hard the habit will be to break.

This dog is bored out of his mind. Exercise him more. Get him toys that are OK to chew and show him that you are pleased when he plays with the toys rather than chew the walls or anything else you don't want.
If he gets enough exercise, he will sleep when you can't supervise him. Sleeping dogs aren't destructive.
Also, get some training. The fact that you have "giving him away" on your mind indicates that you don't know much about dogs. Start training now - your dog and yourself.

It could be anxiety. try giving him a shirt that you have worn, like a tea shirt that has your body odor on it and knot it all up and offer that to him and see if that does,nt help. Make sure he has chew toys and Bones and such and when you see him offer a chew toy ,bone or your shirt.
The reason I say your shirt, is that it has your odor on it and if it is anxiety then this could help him to be less so.
Also if your dog is left alone for long periods and hes mad he will do this also.
Try the shirt and if that does,nt work how about a nice big cage for him and while your not home cage him. It really is acceptable for you to cage him when nessesary. He may even find it comforting.
Good-luck

There is something called bitter apple spray. You spray it on whatever and then the dog doesn't like the taste so stops chewing. It apparently doesn't ruin whatever you spray on it and it hasn't for me.
