Well, i wanted to know if anybody knew how to make the poof on top of your head....some people say its the "bird" poof :( well i like it and i just wanted to learn how to do it... so if anybody can answer back that would be AMAZING cuz i am a disaster wen it comes to learning new hairdos. :) thanx

easy. just take the section you want "poofed" pull it straight back and secure with bobby pins. then, holding the pins in place, just pull chunks of hair up little by little until you have the height and width you want.

I do the poof all the time. What you need to do is go out and get a ratting comb. then you section your hair. and rat it just at the root. once your done with doing all the sections, you take a brush, with bristles very close together not wide toothed, and you brush through your hair lightly, so that you cant tell that your hair is ratted, but you still have a poof.

Tease your hair if you want it to make a poof. Also called back-combing my mom tells me. She is a hair stylist.
Use lots of hair spray.

Firstly, it's called a mohawk...
1. Pull all you hair back into a ponytail.
2. Part your hair in the front (make it as wide as you want the mohawk to be)
3. With your comb and some hair gel, bring the parted section forward, and then back, letting it "rest on top of itself."
4. Don't touch it until it dries.
5. Flaunt it

wel i dont use hairspray or gel, but then again i only have a small one like in the pic. i just section the hair im going to use pull it back as if your goignt o put it into a ponytail and push it forward a bit untill u got it how u want it...then secure with booby pins...easy as

you kinda got to spray the part of ur hair that ur gonna be poofing, then u spray it with hairspray, then you take a fine-toothed comb and comb it, then tie it back...sry if it doesnt work it is so hard to explain!
