I have read about the history of the Jehovah's witnesses and their founder, Charles Taze Russel and I have seen terrible things. They have a very worldly history but they still claim to be the true church!!!!

The vast majority of anti-Witness accusations against Charles Taze Russell are unfounded lies and slander.

Looking back throughout history, it seems that godly men such as Noah, Moses, David, Peter, and others from 75, 100, and 125 years ago have made certain mistakes. However, true worship does not look to men, but to the heavens for its devotions.

Throughout their modern history, Jehovah's Witnesses have humbly taught that they are *NOT* infallible and *NOT* inspired by God. That's more than 125 years of such clear denials.

Yet the facts seem not to interrupt the ranting bigotry and outright lies of anti-Witness activists. Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

THANK YOU! This (among many other things) is what I've been trying to convey to a JW friend of mine for the longest! I too have done extenstive research on the Watchtower, as well as talked to former members and I am just appauled at the findings. JWs have been brainwashed in so many ways! And they are not allowed to question the Watchtower or read any material that will reveal the truth about their organization. Thus, they are left in the dark. JWs take it upon themselves to play GOD, by falsely telling millions they will inherit God's Kingdom, if they leave THAT organization. This is nothing more than a modern day cult!!

Consider this passage from another website:

Jehovah’s Witnesses claim that they believe in the grace of God and that one does not earn salvation by their works. Consider the Jehovah Witness policy of making a disfellowshipped person earn their way back into the congregation. Remember you must be a Jehovah’s Witness "in good standing" to survive the end times, and to remain in good standing you must follow the rules and works set out by the Watchtower Organization. If someone breaks a rule, the elders decide whether that person is repentant or not, if they decide they are not repentant they are disfellowshipped. A disfellowshipped witness will not survive the time of the end. Is it not these Elders are deciding for God who deserves God’s grace???

I do NOT agree with their doctrine and I'm happy to have discovered that they do not have the TRUTH. I no longer feel intimidated when they come to my door. I've got all the questions I need to ask them and so far, they haven't been able to give me a straight answer. They leave in a hurry, because they know I'm on to them :).

If you are thinking about joining their organization, THINK again.

Did you expect to get a long answer? I see you got 2 long ones.

I will keep mine short and simple. It is anyone right here and most other places to claim most anything they want to claim as long as its not against the law. Oh yes they can claim it even if it is against the law if they are willing to pay the price for the violation.

Just know claiming is not proving and claiming does not mean you are correct. Let the JUDGE decide and here I see you have decided. Thus I must respect your decision for it is right for you.

Do have a good day and smile OK

I just read that Jesus was a drunkard and gluttonous and John the Baptist had a demon.(Matt 11:16 -19)

I just read that what Jesus taught was shocking.
(John 6:60)

Prov 14:15 says the inexperienced one puts faith in every word, but the shrewd one considers his steps.

don't believe everything you read. Go to the source.

There is none on this earth that is perfect. God does not say judge whom ever you meet. He said Love one another. Love your neighbor as you would your self. He said nothing about showing to anyone what is true and not true in belief. However he did say one thing and one thing only. Love God with all your heart mind and body and Love your enimies and help them, as you would love your neighbor.
Judge not lest you be judge.
These peoples to day are not responsible for their forefather’s mistakes.
I am not Jehovah's Witness but I am a believer in Yeshua's Words and his commandments.
If anyone loves me he will obey my commandments. Love one another and love all men.
(Jhn 13:34) A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
(Jhn 15:12 )This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
(Jhn 15:17) These things I command you, that ye love one another.
(Rom 13:8 )Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
(1Th 4:9) But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another
(1Jo 3:11) For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
(1Jo 3:23) And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
(1Jo 4:7) Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
(1Jo 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.)
(1Jo 4:12) No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us
(Jhn 13:35 By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
(Jhn 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(Rom 12:10) [Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
(Gal 5:13) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
(Eph 4:2) With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
(1Th 3:12) And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all [men], even as we [do] toward you:
(Hebr 10:24) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
(1Pe 3:8) Finally, [be ye] all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, [be] pitiful, [be] courteous:
