It appears they log on Yahoo UK and ask silly questions like what is a shag?, What is National Insurance Payments ETC or is Yahoo answers Global without the US or UK divisions? Or are they not happy with their lot? Maybe like it better here, hey, Yanks?

Look dude if your going to ask a derogatory question like your aforementioned one, then at least have a basic grasp of the English language, because otherwise you could easily be construed as being a) totally illiterate and b) a total hypocrite. Anyways in answer to your mildly retarded question, to stereotype so vastly is rather shallow minded. There are intellectually challenged individuals of every race, gender, or religion. Having lived in America for a year i can say, that a lot of Americans are very cool people, and to judge everyone as being "thick" is quite arrogant. That is my opinion anyways. Hope that helps - Dan.

Actually Yahoo is global basically. When I log onto Yahoo Answers it is any questions asked in English. That is why we get questions asking about things that don't make any sense. Like when something will be released even though it has been here in the U.S.

You're an idiot. Why is "what is a shag" a stupid question? It's a BRITISH expression and, believe it or not, the entire world doesn't revolve around this island and not everyone knows some of the really stupid phrases here. Why don't you try traveling a bit more so you can go to a country where they might use different phrases than you. You might want to check your grammar before posting too. It shows you're not only a bigot but that you're also uneducated.

There are different different divisions for different countries. Like I use the Q&A site for Korean and China pretty often. It is divided by language, though, in some cases. For instance, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan all have different sites even though they share the same language but the UK and US have the same Q&A page.

I'm English and have nothing against Americans. You sound like you do. They can't win can they? People accuse Americans of being insular and of knowing nothing of the world outside the States and here you are accusing them of being stupid for wanting to know more about our culture. You should be flattered and glad that people from another culture wish to interact with us on Yahoo, that is what internet technology should be for, not throwing around childish insults that obviously originate in your own prejudiced views of Americans. Think about it - how foolish is it to insult millions of people that you don't know? How arrogant, rude and...thick! And if you MUST insist on using this site to air your bigotry at least have the sense to write your question correctly - I mean that is just plain embarrasing.

Where is 'here'?
And how brilliant is this question?
Since US and UK divisions on immigration are one and the same web page?

Well, from the study I've done in my life, I see the English as ignorant, paranoid, closed-minded a$$holes who brag about being the first "sophisticated" society... you and your fellow hopeless British nuts make too many stupid laws. And your country is so small, yet you think you are so big!!! You think everyone in the world is small like you, and because of the puny size of your country, you're so uptight and crammed into tiny little houses and societies. The people in that dammed country can't do anything for themselves... they sit and whine and complain, while the Americans actually do something about their problems. The British are falling apart, and you'll go down with them.

hey limey! yes, we're all thick. and you all have bad teeth. see my point. dont stereotype. anyway, to answer your question... the yahoo.answers site is the same for both the US and the UK unless you click something that restricts it to your own country. for myself at least, when i click on yahoo.answers i have the privilege of sharing it with you tea drinking, biscuit eating brits. im kidding, i love tea and the UK for that matter.

. . . they're mostly descended from the original eastern europeans (apart from the red indians) who are deserting eastern europe in their droves (no reference to "Rawhide" intended - I'm sure Clint Eastwood made a wonderful Mayor of wherever it was) - so the next big thing will be the tracing of "ancestors" not only here but in south-east Asia - so aswell as your Vietnamese Restaurant get ready for the Bulgarian, Polish, Latvian, Lithuanian etc etc (all the countries America f*cked up) . . .
