Kittens are curious and will eat just about ANYTHING. Don't give it to him. If he gets used to it, he will form habits that last into adulthood. If you refuse, he'll outgrow this. Milk isn't bad for him, but will make his poop stink to high heaven, so I would advise against it.

Sausage isn't good (too much salt and spice). Chicken is OK. Let him lick the bottom of the ice cream dish. Once weaned milk isn't at all necessary or useful for a cat's diet.
My first kittens sampled my mashed potatoes, applesauce, cooked meat etc. Small amounts are perfectly fine. And you will be creating a little beggar at your table.
Kinsey is 14 now and he still likes to lick the milk from my cereal bowl some days. He loves a little tidbit of bacon if I have that for breakfast. Cats like fat.

We call it Shark Ears when you just see the twin triangles over the table edge as if they're just waiting for something to drop. If a cat keeps drinking milk from early on then their doesn't seem to be any problems, otherwise look out for potty problems. My cats eat mostly quality dry cat food but they like everything you've mentioned including caviar, green beans, gefilta fish and other things too odd to mention. Cats can no more be generalized about than people, he will have different tastes than even his littermates. Have fun and look out for an ice cream headache if he eats too much too fast.

My cats were like that when they were kittens. I liked given them some scraps because if it is just a little bit tough, it helps their teeth gain strength. But not really big pieces. I also used to have a Maine Coon cat for about 10 years, but I had to get rid of him.

Don't give milk - that's a no-no. Give your cat little bits as a treat, but not often and not much - they need the balance of nutrients in cat food. It is interesting, though, to see what they will and won't eat - our current cat will eat strawberries and likes cooked celery. Past cats have liked grapes, lettuce, peas, corn, etc. Of course, though, they all want the meat!

You don't want to give him milk, unless maybe it's just a taste: Otherwise he will get diarrhea.
And yes, it is normal- if the kitten is used to being given them. Besides, at 2 months old he's just getting into the business of exploring things.
One thing: Don't give him food at the table unless you want him to start begging while you eat.
Good luck!

It is normal for a kitten/cat to be interested in people food. As for milk it is fine to give as long as it doesn't give your kitten/cat diarreha or vomiting. Some cats/kittens can't drink milk because they can't effectively digest the lactose found in milk.

Milk is not a good idea. Many cats can't digest it properly and it will cause diarrhea. Ignore the bad behavior and don't give him any "people" food and he will eventually quit begging.

yes, very normal.. in fact, I'd start wondering why the other cat doesnt care about the food haha. But seriously, cats are adorable parasites and they are healthy to be wanting your food.

He should not be interested, when you give him his food, you should eat at the same time, so he is distracted, and he does not focas on you. Becareful what you give him, and if you give him milk don't give him too much while he is still young.
