If she's talking about her underwear, she's probably changed. If she's talking about her infidelity she probably hasn't changed, but you know what, go with your feelings on this one. When interacting with the opposite sex, or even the same sex, for that matter in a relationship type situation, sooner or later, you're bound to get your heart broken. I haven't met many people who haven't had their heart broken at least once in their lives. The best thing to do here is live and learn. If you'll remember this saying, you'll do fine, "It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."

No. But how can you just make that decision without seeing for yourself? Who knows? It's possible with you she can be a better person. I have seen this happen to people all the time. Haven't you ever seen a guy change when a girl came into his life?

No. Usually a person's personality is hard-wired into them and is usually the result of upbringing, childhood experiences, etc. It is the result of years of experiences and doesn't change over night. Your friend is probably capable of change, but it will take some time. Just know this going into the relationship. Ya never know; you could be the change she desperately needs.

That would depend on how close a friend she is. If you have known her for a long time and you feel that you can trust her then yes you should believe her. But if you have a lot of doubt then tell her that she's going to have to prove to you that she's changed.

people change.
im sure YOU"VE changed a bit since whenever...
people can focus on treating bad habits.
At least with guyz its this way:
If she has that kind of determination, and really beleives she has you can trust her if only for a while... if something made her want to be better... there's a chance... if she tells you this completely randomly... and YOU have never seen a difference come up in her, its slim. ask someone for further condolance.

I would need more details but I am an optimist and I believe that people can change. You shouldn't let someones past stop you if your interested. It may be that they have met all the wrong guys up unbtil now BUT you may be different.
She may have just been insicure but now she feels better about herself.
I would say stop worrying about her past and look at the present and how you feel about her!

everyone makes mistakes when growing up, i know i did. But i think with maturity you start to see those mistakes and if your serious about improving yourself you can be a better person.

Nope. Women are evil liars by their nature. Although you have the advantage of knowing this about her ahead of time.
Go out with her, do whatever, thats fine... believe her, trust her, NEVER.
