2 or 3 times over the past 2 weeks i had it on my entire body for about 20 seconds, but i've been having it more often recently in concentrated areas, such as my butt and/or back. Not a drug user, smoker, or heavy drinker, so that can't be it. and i'm in good shape, so i have no idea what could be causing it. nothing serious, but any ideas?

Could be an allergy to something. For me this could be aan allergic reaction to detergent, soap, paint and believe it or not dairy. So if it can happen to me investigate what is new in your environment including food and drinks. Start from them.
Good luck I know how it feels.

You could have an allergy to something. It could also be a laundry product that your clothes are washed in that's causing it.

You may have a back ailignment issue..sciatic nerve is around the hip area on each side, and runs all the way up, and all the way down. Maybe get a massage? or reflexology session...
