I don't drink coffee. I drink water. I give to my church which sponsors missionaries in 11 nations including the United States. We provide food, water, clothing, shelter, and education to the children in our programs. I work with children who have behavior and/or emotional problems. I coach Special Olympics. I help with the inner city church youth group. My life has great purpose and I can see where I make a difference. I have sponsored children in some of the organizations you listed and they seem to ask for more and more money every month. I just couldn't afford it. I give mostly of my time instead.

my morning coffee is a hell of a lot less than $2.65, I make my own. No way I'm giving it up.
Besides, I don't see how the caffeine would be beneficial for a 3rd world child.

seriously, though, I give through the heifer project. it's propaganda free, and lower overhead.

Yes I would, but my problem is I don't believe in these organization as being truthful,
Man invented money with a stroke of a pen, and with that pen they could feed all the people.
All the people making tons of money from these poor people should also feed them, all these rich churches should feed them, all the aid money sent to there leader he should feed them,
See God gives these people choices, the rich could feed them better that than there workers could, but God gave them the pen and they choose not to make it equal, but use it to divide, so yes i would feed them, I would even give them my meal, but surely the rich can give up their gold, better than we can.
Do you know that it is the rich that keep them poor, they came up with the idea of an organization to feed them with out giving a dime, but by putting a sword in the working class, that know they with out a job will be starving also, God is great when your rich

i might switch to a cheaper coffee house, then give the difference in the prices to starving kids in my own country! we have enough of those here in the States that aren't getting any help, so no i do not support third world children.

Any Church is already rich enough to give away their own money. If i really want to help a poor child I am going to feed him with my own hands.I am not giving my money to others,so I can see a priest or pastor or whetever driving a mercedes.

1st I would give up my meal if it meant helping someone else. The truth is that usually with these groups only a small portion goes to the actual people that need it. They have to pay for those commercials somehow! If you could show me a group that gave 100% to the children I'd be for it.

No I would not. You see, if I gave up my morning coffee, I'd go to work iritable and tired. I'd be pissy with customers, lose my job, and have to put my house up for a second mortgage all because of some 3rd world kid who's family is too lazy to MOVE WHERE THERE IS FOOD!!!
On top of that, these organizations that sponsor 3rd world families have the access to vast amounts of money and food of their own, but instead of using it to help the needy, they spend it all on actors to open our hearts and our wallets.
