Atheists often speak about being good for the sake of being good. They don't believe Jesus is important at all. They disagree with the pope about birth control and other things.

Fundamentalists believe only their interpretation is true. They believe in converting those with different beliefs, even fellow Christians. They judge all people all the time, homosexuals, rape victims, etc. and they KNOW God's will. They think evolution is a sham, and that Adam and Eve were actual people, not metaphors.

Who do you agree with more? The fundamentalists or the athiests?

So... essentially, you want to know whether moderately deluded people feel a greater kinship with profoundly deluded people, or with rational people?

I consider myself a liberal, thinking Christian. Your question is interesting.

I'd have to say on many issues I'd go with the atheists.

You may give me your morally superior thumbs down, but I'm just being honest.

I agree with Jesus who said, "No one comes to the Father except through Me."

11Let him that does unrighteously do unrighteously still; and let the filthy make himself filthy still; and let him that is righteous practice righteousness still; and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.

12Behold, I come quickly, and my reward with me, to render to every one as his work shall be.

13*I* [am] the Alpha and the Omega, [the] first and [the] last, the beginning and the end.

14Blessed [are] they that wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they should go in by the gates into the city.

15Without [are] the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loves and makes a lie.

16*I* Jesus have sent mine angel to testify these things to you in the assemblies. *I* am the root and offspring of David, the bright [and] morning star.

17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come; he that will, let him take [the] water of life freely.
