asking a question is not a deial Why do you ask icheeknows don't you know ichee knows? so does ichee know ??? if you are asking him directly then you must think he does. Does he?
The quetion might better read in english today. How did you know I am God, cuz He si the only one who is good.
You read it your way but remember this the whole trinity and Jesus as divine is something Bible scholars have been booting around for years. C.S. Lewis and Barclay both excellent authors and lovers of God did not believe the divinity part, but still loved God, and that is what it is all about right?? Loving God enough to try to please Him with your thoughts and actions. Now Bush and his supporters may be hard on you about this but just love um anyway

Because he was teaching that only God was truly good.
Any "goodness", "power", "Kingship" that he had came from his Father.
Jesus is an image of the invisible God, (Col 1:15)
Jesus is an exact representation of his Father.
(Heb 1:3)
He is the way, the life, and the truth, nobody goes to the Father except through him.
Our inherited sin has created a wall between us and Jehovah.
Jesus is the gate that Jehovah has built enabling us to get to God.
Those who teach the trinity do so because they misunderstand a handful of verses and try to explain away the huge amount of evidence by saying it is a mystery.
*** rs p. 406 par. 1 Trinity ***
In The Encyclopedia Americana we read: “Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one person]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching.”—(1956), Vol. XXVII, p. 294L.
(Romans 15:3-6) . . .” 4 For all the things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope. 5 Now may the God who supplies endurance and comfort grant YOU to have among yourselves the same mental attitude that Christ Jesus had, 6 that with one accord YOU may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Nice research, but I can make this simlple for everyone. There is no agreement that the biblical Jesus ever existed, much less that what is written is what he actually said. The Bible is only evidence of the Bible. The same for the Koran. The beliefs of all Abrahamic religions are logically inconsistent and scientifically falsified. The kind of intellectual failure required to believe any of it precludes intelligent discussuion. Don't expect these questions to go very far.

He's asking if the man REALLY understands what he is saying. God is good. Do you recognize that I AM GOD? No where does He say, "I'm not God."
11Let him that does unrighteously do unrighteously still; and let the filthy make himself filthy still; and let him that is righteous practice righteousness still; and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.
12Behold, I come quickly, and my reward with me, to render to every one as his work shall be.
13*I* [am] the Alpha and the Omega, [the] first and [the] last, the beginning and the end.
14Blessed [are] they that wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they should go in by the gates into the city.
15Without [are] the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loves and makes a lie.
16*I* Jesus have sent mine angel to testify these things to you in the assemblies. *I* am the root and offspring of David, the bright [and] morning star.
17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come; he that will, let him take [the] water of life freely.

The answer is the question that He (Jesus) asked the man. He was telling the man that He is God or the man wouldn't have called Him good. If you want to read about the power of Jesus check out www.soldiersoflightministry.com

Well he certainly needs to make up his mind then, doesn't he?
Oh Jesus, you're so funny, telling us all these jokes, and randomly sticking in your ABSOLUTELY DIVINE HOLY INERRANT WORD, and we must sift through the crap literature that is the Bible (it's honestly not a very interesting read, and only offers little syntax variety, horrible vocabulary, redundancy, etc.) in order to separate the two.
He might SAY he's not God right there, but he didn't mean it. No, of course not. You can't believe everything Jesus says!
But now, HA! look in Matthew and John: he says he's God!! OH MY LORD WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!? YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE EVERY SINGLE WORD HE SAYS.
Am I the only won is who utterly dumbfounded on this matter?

He didn't deny His divinity. All He said was WHY do you call me good, and then He said no one is good except God alone. He was testing the rich man, and the rich man failed the test. In actuality Jesus rarely claimed He was the Messiah, or God. He always talked in a parable.

It seams sparkling to me the respond is Jesus. regardless of how stressful the Jehovah's Witnesses attempt to push Jesus' deity out of their Bible, it is nevertheless there. this could provide them a clue or I could say a cue. Their history is crammed with the suitable of Jesus purely a sturdy guy and the exclusiveness of "them". Be it certain they don't seem to be unique, there are various lost souls obtainable. in the event that they opt to discover salvation, they simply ought to look to Jesus to no longer those a hundred and forty four,000 they isn't a extreme priest to the order of Melchizedek. translated as "my king (is) righteous(ness)") besides the fact that this is Jesus who's King and makes us righteous in the previous the daddy, no longer some guy or number of adult males, anointed according to possibility, yet nevertheless no longer able to hold salvation to anybody. If the extreme clergymen of old ought to no longer do it, why might anybody think of a few mere adult males of in the present day ought to do it? ineffective, basically ineffective, something different then Jesus and the completed works of the pass. it is the message Paul tried to get for the era of yet some adult males have harden their coronary heart and minds that they might and that they are incorrect, basically because of the fact the Jehovah's Witness are incorrect and lost.

Jesus does say He is God the Son, the second person in the Trinity in the following verses:
Revelation 2:18 "And unto the angel of the church at Thyatira write, These things saith the Son of God (words in red, Jesus speaking) , who hath his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass>"
John 4:25 &26 "The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he (again words in red, Jesus speaking)
John 5:25 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live."
John 9:35,36, & 37 "Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is He that talketh with thee."
John 10:30 "I and my Father are one."
There are many more verses, but if you want to know, do your own research.

Why do you assume that he did?
Jesus was just funnin' with the kid.
He was saying, "You little twit, how do you know who I am?"
Then, the kid claimed to have kept all the commandments, from birth. A twit, and now a liar, too!
No wonder he walked away.
Now, why don't you do the same.
