This is just a Industrial Paramedic position and requires you to be certified as a Paramedic which usually takes about 1 - 2 years to complete. Also many companies that hire medics likes for them to have at least a year of experience, and additional training such as any Instructor certifications wouldn't hurt.

An oil field paramedic is a paramdeic who is responsible for handling medical emergencies at an oil field. To have this job you need to have completed an EMT class and after that a paramedic education program. They may want you to have 1 or more years of experience before taking this job.

I am not sure but probably anyone who works in an oil field in Iraq. Most likely all on the job training.
