How long have you been an ex? I divorced my ex-husband 24 years ago after only 2 years of marriage and I still get butterflies in the stomach when I see him now and I've been re-married for 16 years. Lucky for me he lives in AZ and I live in NE so we don't run into each other very often. You just have to move on and put yourself back out there in the dating world if your ready for that. It took me 2 years to find a new soul mate and I went through alot of frogs before I got there. You just have to think of it as starting a new life and a better life. Chins up and Good Luck in your new life!

You are on the right track with the out of sight theory. Go out (even if you don't usually go out) and meet some people. Get layed...it will make the transition a little easier.
