Christianity is the only religion where the God they believe actually claimed to be God. Jesus claimed to be God, which makes him either a Liar, Lunatic, or else Lord God. There are no other options

For me personally...it is not a matter of "think".

I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was crucified for the sins of the world.

For me...it is about personal revelation...I have received my answer from God...and I am not tossed about with every wind of doctrine from man...I know in whom I trust and why.

I hope others "think" Jesus is God for the same reason.

Jesus never said that he was God.. he said that he was the SON OF GOD... I've never heard anyone say that he is a God.. he's a savior, a prophet and a messiah.. but not a God.

202 Jesus himself affirms that God is "the one Lord" whom you must love "with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength". At the same time Jesus gives us to understand that he himself is "the Lord". To confess that Jesus is Lord is distinctive of Christian faith. This is not contrary to belief in the One God. Nor does believing in the Holy Spirit as "Lord and giver of life" introduce any division into the One God:

We firmly believe and confess without reservation that there is only one true God, eternal infinite (immensus) and unchangeable, incomprehensible, almighty and ineffable, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit; three persons indeed, but one essence, substance or nature entirely simple.

252 The Church uses (I) the term "substance" (rendered also at times by "essence" or "nature") to designate the divine being in its unity, (II) the term "person" or "hypostasis" to designate the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the real distinction among them, and (III) the term "relation" to designate the fact that their distinction lies in the relationship of each to the others.

Study the word and you will find out. He fulfilled prophecies that were written hundreds of years before His birth, that is historically acurate. Prophecy fulfillment is the proof of God. And He has done it, ppl just don't take the time to study His word and see it.
