Well my boyfriend got pretty sick this weekend with the flu, hot/cold symptoms, headache, etc. and I stayed away from him for the most part, except getting him meds and making him push fluids... but the day he came down with symptoms, we had slept in the same bed together and been cuddly. Does this mean I will eventually get sick, or possibly that I was immune to the actual virus he had? Thanks

I've managed to not get sick even when my husband was. Like you said, sometimes you already have the immunity to the virus he has. Good luck staying well!

I've been there sometimes you get sick other times not. Could be more tired one day or run down and get sick? I just try and stay away from sick people!

It can happen, my husband had a kidney transplant and he usually gets sick real easily. Instead, I am the one who is suffering, and he is fine. I am trying to be careful so he doesn't get it.
