I can't tell where you're from, but if you're in the U.S., it's a mockingbird. The unmated males are the real bad ones. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that he finds a girlfriend soon.

Yes, my bedroom was next to the window and I could hear chirping at 2 or 3 AM at times. Some nights, the chirping would wake me. There wasn't much I could do but relax.
