I know people who did not have any difficulties after having an abortion in getting pregnant. There are chances that it may make it more difficult to have children, if I was you, I'd definately make sure you are doing all the right things such as prenatal vitamins, no smoking, drinking, etc, when trying to concieve. Let your doctor know about the previous abortions and ask him/her about whether the abortions will cause any sort of complications. I think it also depends on how early you had the abortion and how much scar tissue there is, if it is minimal, then there shouldn't be a huge problem. Good luck (I'm 9 weeks pregnant right now.)

Don't worry about the other people's judgements. It's your choice and you don't need to explain yourself. People always assume the worst. Sometimes abortions are needed because of problems with the baby or the mother. People need to stop assumming the worse.

What do the doctors say. Do they say your chances of having children are effected by abortions. I don't know really, I would try doing some research on your own. If you keep getting pregnant though maybe the first or second abortion didn't effect getting pregnant so maybe neither will the third.

It's not like people come out and say it all the time but I think many women have had a couple of abortions, like maybe 30%-40% so they still have children later, don't worry, if it was meant to be it will be.

I think it can increase your chances for a miscarriage, but I could be totally wrong on that. Why did you have three abortions? There are lots of very effective methods of birth control out there, that are going to be way better for your health to take than having so many abortions. I would talk to a doctor about your plans to become a parent and tell them about the abortions and see if they have any warnings or anything for you. Hopefully, if you do choose to have children in the future you will know you are ready and it will not result in another abortion. It is best to know that you truly want to raise a child before becoming pregnant.

of course people are going to judge you sorry for that. you may be able to have more children in the future but it may mean they are premature or you find it hard to conceive

your health may stop you taking the pill but doesn't stop you using a condom have you thought about the fact that if you are having unprotected sex you could get STD. abortions can course scar tissue and if not done properly and thus stop you having children or make it more difficult.

i have never had an abortion but 2 full term normal pregnancy's yet i went on to have my 3rd at 27 weeks the doctors said she should have really been a miscarriage but she is still here 9 years on.

my sister had her daughter at 23 weeks and she was a perfectly formed baby she lived only a few minutes

please think on use protection if you are not ready to have kids for what ever reason

my memories are for baby Isobel 8/12/1999 who lived for just 5Min's

i do hope you do go on to have children when you are ready but in the mean time use a condom abortion is a serious strain on your body

It can depending upon the amount of scar tissue!!! Anything's possible you just have to consult with your doctor so that he can run some tests and check your hormone levels! He will probably have to put you on bed rest when you do decide to go through a pregnancy and monitor you very closely!! You may become a high risk for miscarriages and then again you are at a high risk for multiple births since you've been pregnant 3 times already!

yes and no this is a very serious matter a close friend of mine had 3 abortions in the past she fell pregnant again and was keeping the baby after 12 weeks she had a miscarriage she was very up set after getting use to the idea of a baby on the way. she wanted a baby after the miscarriage she fell pregnant again and had a still birth at 23 weeks she went in labour too Earlie the baby was tested to the reason why this happened. the baby was healthy, the nurse told her because of the 3 abortions in the past this has made her womb weak and every time she is pregnant she will have problem as she is unable to Carrie a baby when it reaches a certain weight. i have seen my friend go through this and i would not wish this on any one.

that sounds selfish sorry to say. i have a heart condition and am currently pregnant life in side me feels grate. i believe you get one chance for an abortion if you take it you take it but because you've had one doesn't make it right to have more. Yes you should stop having sex if you cant use contraception it is a pleasure and i don't see how having three abortions can be pleasure able so if i was you i would keep my legs shut and think about what you have missed out on the mirical of life growing in side

Why not use condoms? Do these affect your health as well? Depending on how far along you are it could have an impact on you having children later in life. If the are second trimester abortions it could definitely cause problems. Something to discuss with you OB.

I know I am no one to judge, and no body is. I know all of us have made bad decisions in our life and guess what? We are the ones the pay for the consequences. I know you must feel bad and confuse about your situation. believe me I know, and you must had your reasons, of course is not right to do abortions but we also can not judge you. Anybody who have abortions have a great chance of comlications but you just have to make sure togo to a doctor for check ups. What is done is done and you wil have to live with it. If you regret doing them, then just make sure not to do it again and learn form mistakes. At the same time forgive yourself and move on. If you check a doctor, I am sure you will be ok.

See your doctor and I'm sure everything will be okay, don't worry, you obviously had your reasons for having 3 abortions - I'm not saying i condone it but with everyone being so mean about it sometimes you just need someone that's got nothing bad to say.
No one can really answer your question apart from your doctor - all i would say is be careful, if you don't want children then protect yourself, hope everything works out OK 4 u xx
