Very often, science and technology are pretty much one of the same.
Science discovers a non-stick coating and technology finds a way to bond it to your cookware. A scientist discovers his Hershey bar melts in his pocket whenever he is working around microwaves and technology builds the microwave oven.
Hopefully, this team work will help solve our energy problems some day.

Is just chicken and egg story here... Without technology, there is no science. But, without science how can there be technology?
Well, i believe both are parallel, and depending how you see the case. In my own opinion, i believe Up-Stream Science lead the technology, and in turn during the technology studying stage, down-stream science come in to solve the technology problem.
