It was relatively, hell. My step father moved us all to the country from Los Angeles in the middle of my senior year in High School. I couldn't find a way to stay. It was too far. from there it went down hill and I quit school and joined the Navy. I had to learn everything by myself so that it took me twice as long to mature than it should have....sob, sob, sob. I turned out ok in the end.

I was very sheltered growing up. I was not allowed to wear pants or skirts above the knee. i had to stay in the house and i was also homeschooled. i didn't have any boyfriends and only had two friends that i could only be with at my house.
when i was 20 i was kicked out of the house not knowing ANYTHING about the world. I think this has a lot to do with the fact that i don't have socialize IRL and still don't know anything about the world today. lol don't i sound like an angry little girl.
i'm just starting something of a life and i'm 22 now. i have a son and promised myself i would not make him live the way i did.

We were poor and lived in the country. Friends were few because we didn't have the most expensive clothes to wear. Children at school were very cruel. We didn't have a lot of toys at christmas. My parents were sick but did the best they could. We had to pick or chop cotton in the summer time to help pay for our school clothes. My mom and dad loved us but were very strict. We were not allowed to go to a lot of social events as teenagers. I had six sisters we had lots of chores. In my family if you didn't get married by the age of sixteen you felt like you needed to leave home. We knew that our parents were very sick. They were unable to take care of us.

Life was great - no responsibilities, a good stable home, nice community, great friends, but no dad around. Otherwise I was spoiled.
