After 3 hours of talking on the phone, I told a guy I work with that I just recently I got out of a relationship and I need some time to figure to figure out what went wrong. I told him that although I was very attracted to him I wasn't ready for a relationship.

Unfortunately, I have to work with this person and he and I are both managers. In the past he has always been very responsive to work related issues but in the past two weeks, I have sent him two different emails on different issues to which I have received no response. I considered sending the question to one of his employees for response but am not sure it would be a good idea. I am beginning to take this personal and I feel like our work relationship has suffered. If I ask him why he hasn’t responded I know he will tell me that he has been busy, which is not an excuse for being unresponsive. What should I do?

Usally when you tell a guy you were not ready for a relaship then he takes it as "she dont like me any more so im gonna move on" good luck.....

well, you set the ground rules and now he understands. He won't respond until you ask him in person again. I suggest doing that at lunch time , away from work .. and make it a topic of discussion that he has to answer while being there with you too.

Confront him on a business level about his work ethics and maybe include that this is why dating with co-workers never can happen!!!

absolutely nothing! Don't mix work and pleasure even if your working in the same company. If he dosen't reply then it's his lost. Don't panic if he wants you he'll come to you.

Well, he likes you, that's apparent. Confront him on the issue.
