between a muslim and a terrorist ?
terrorism is only associated to islam outside islamic countries, but
the fact is terrorists are called Terrorists inside muslim countries.
i live in a muslim country that suffered various "terroristic" attacks and we like you call anyone who puts another person's life in danger is a murderer/terrorist.

there are fundamentalist christians/jews and even atheists, but that doesnt necessarily mean that what they beleive in states/commands the murder of another person's life.

islamic teachings and holy book clearly states that the murder of any innocent soul is punishable by eternal hell, may who did it be muslim or whatever.
and the bottom line is that me and several people like me are the actual victim of terrorism becase we suffer both terrorism and the social profiling that comes with it.

peace

can you tell the difference between an American and a terrorist? international and US military law forbids terrorist activity such as preemptively striking another country, nuclear proliferation, disappearing citizens of other countries, torturing people ,yet our country practices these methods today, and check out human rights watch and amnesty international websites, look at the archived documentation and see who is the terrorist that threatens the international community.

It's true that terrorists aren't only Muslim or of Muslim culture but after September 11 the consensus is that of the fear of Muslims because they were the ones that attacked our nation. I don't believe in racism but you have to understand that it's hard for a nation to actually come to an agreement and be un bias. It has been years since the civil rights movement and equal rights to all and their is still prejudice and hate towards blacks, Hispanics, and almost every minority in general.
I'm not trying to defend racism or saying that it's right for anyone, regardless of ethnicity or religion, to be constantly watched, criticized, and made suspect but sadly this is the way our society works. The best thing to do is just ignore it and try to become a better person regardless of the judgment instead of becoming like those we don't agree with.

You're absolutely right, and its very sad. We christians are still getting flack over the crusades and the inquisition, even though obviously, it was before our time and we had nothing to do with it. That probably means you guys will keep getting it for 09/11 for centuries too. Pretty pathetic, isn't it? Believe it or not, there are a few of us that don't blame all muslims for the acts of terrorists.

I agree that it's unfair that innocent people suffer the inconvenience that profiling can bring. But the fact remains that it was muslim extremists who attacked our country and continue to threaten it and we have to err on the side of caution. If a blonde, blue-eyed group of skinheads threatened this country, you can be sure that people who looked like that would be under suspicion. I understand that the extremists do not follow the teachings of the mainstream muslims, but I don't see any other way to keep our country safe. It's one thing to be careful of our borders, and another to discriminate on a personal level. I would hope that I would never unfairly treat any innocent person because of their race. Peace to you.

A terrorist can come in any shape and form. I don't judge Muslims. I don't think they're terrorists just because they're Muslim.. anyone can be a terrorist.. and people have to realize that.

What ever, religious beliefs can lead to radical beliefs which make them all dangerous at some time or another. The potential for harm will always be there.
