I have been with my boyfriend for 6 weeks only, but we're both completely head over heels for each other. I have never felt so happy in my life and been treated this well.

Anyway, we're thinking of getting engaged in a year.....too soon?

Well, that isn't for anyone to tell you but here goes. My bf and I have been together 6 1/2 years. Two WEEKS after we started dating, he felt the same way about me and me about him, he was completely head over heals crazy about me and if he had the money we would have gotten married and all that. Now Two MONTHS after we had moved in together we fought like cats and dogs for 2 years straight, holding on by a thread, it was crazy. So don't rush things, because once you start living with the other person things change, their habits & your habits can clash, financial issues...etc., anything can creep up on you. Take it easy, get to know one another, being married is just a piece of paper. We have been together for 6 1/2 years and have been through alot but it was worth it and we now have a strong relationship. Being married wouldn't have changed a single thing. I feel married in my heart, that is all that matters. We believe in the union of marriage and plan on getting married next year.

You have to ask yourself if you can really see yourself with this guy for the rest of your life! This is a huge step. If youre really in love and willing to commit at that level, then go for it. If not, take a step back and think about what youre getting into. And if you really had to ask for someone elses opinion, it means you might not be too sure of it yourself. You gotta know for yourself! It's all up to your heart

woooooww...that is majorly too soon. it takes more in a marriage then the feeling of feeling head over heels. i wish that's all it took. if that is all it took, there would defenetly not be as many divorces today. a guy and a girl can change very quickly and act differently in the begining stages of courtship then they do later on. give your relationship at least 2 years for u to be able to see his true colors. trust me on this one, a marriage takes more then beeing head over heals. Being head over heals is not substancial for a marriage. I get head over heels when i see my dog do new tricks. wait it out and see if he changes. and wait until both of you are more mature. and if u don't listen to anything i said, please, tie your tubes and don't make 94 children. at least your lives will be suffering, but don't have kidlets so they will suffer too.

Maybe in a year. But thought you were going to suggest right now after only six weeks together, which would have been a certain yes. Best of luck to you and continued happiness in your relationship.

getting engaged or getting married? HELL yes, the passion will die very soon. U have no clue who he has, and have had no harships most likely. Now some experts say u can, but I say no no no!!!!!! How do u even know u will still be together? U don't! Yes, how old r u?
