It could cause a number of reactions. On the one hand, if he is older in the family, he may take on parental responsibities more quickly and become the man of the house. Younger kids, tend to be shy and mature more slowly.

Well I think that in more hard times, a person is forced to mature faster. That is in certain areas. I would agree that a boy growing up without a father usually has to grow up faster in some areas, even with an awesome mother. I do however think that in other ways a boy can have trouble growing up. A relationship with their father is very important and lack of one can cause some hurt and troubles in other areas.

well alot of emotional bonding with dad is needed for personal reasons but I'm not sure of the exact answer.

how can you be 24, if you were 9 years old in 1997?? Do your math silly! 1997-9= 1988
