I agree with you - it's sad. But, the reality is that it would cost the insurance company more money to help someone have the baby, and pay for the pregnancy than to pay for an abortion. Everything is about money, not about people or family, it's very tragic and sad.

Because if you have an abortion, the insurance company will incur no future costs from that baby. Sick, eh.
