So i really like this girl and she likes me back..... the night before i asked her out we were making out for like 10 minutues straight in her pool..then today i asked her out. i said "do u wanna be my girlfriend". She thought about it for 5 seconds and said "i wanna get to know u better". What does that mean ?? Should i ask her out again soon ??

It means you scared her a little. She doesn't know if she wants only you. I would give her a break. She probably didn't expect that from you. Sometimes.. you have to act like you don't like a girl too early on. We love the chase, however sometimes what we catch isn't worth keeping. So, before she goes fishing in someones else's pond.. give her time to think about it. I wouldn't call her a few days. Then, call her and act like you never mentioned it. If she likes you enough she will eventually bring it up.

I think it means she plainly wants to get to know you better. She probably needs more time to think about it. But if you say you guys are already making out and she still needs more time to think about it maybe shes just playing the field. I dont think you should ask her again unless your positive she gives you a sign letting you know she does wanna go out with you.

Maybe she want to get to know you better before can committ to a relationship with you. maybe she has been though a lot of stuff and just want to take it slow for right now. just give her some and asked her out again when the time is right

Take her out on some more dates and talk with her...hold back on the making out for a few of them. Ask her after talking with her some more. Girls are big on conversation. We look for companions more than we look for sexual partners.

yea, take her out somewhere kind of private were you guys can talk (not movies or something like that). A walk in the park is free, isolated, and she can "get to know you better".
