Look. That belief only applies in Judeo-Christianity. Any god with a follower exists. Any god who has ever been believed in exists. But Pagan gods are not just a split-up version of your own god. It's offensive to tell us that. Allah, Yahweh, and God are all the same god, yes. But Thor is not the same as them. Zeus is not like them. Quetzecoatl and He Whose Name Must Not Be Spoken But Only Whispered are not the same as your God. So don't come in and tell me that my gods are the same as your god. It's just a way for monotheists to say that they're right without seeming like bigots.
Everyone is right. No one is wrong. The god(s) you believe in is(are) the only one(s) that influence(s) you. But the Christian god is not my god.

One. Stop telling me to convert because that just exasperates me and makes you look like an asshole.
Two. I respect your other opinions, mind. If you believe differently from me, that's fine. I respect that. ^^ But a) I am myself Pagan and speaking to the Christians who tell others that their gods are actually the same. I should think that obvious. So it's really very silly to see so many people saying, "i didnt say that lol". It would be very difficult for ALL of you to have said it. e.e Obviously, I'm not speaking to every single person on Y! I totally feel where your coming from as a pagan/wiccan I once said the same thing you do. However as I have grown in my faith I have learned that She, Him, They are all One. Religion is how you worship your deity but it doesn't change the deity. Really I use to think there would be a line in the end and I'd be in the Goddess line, but in the end it's only one line. That and as long as you live as you believe and believe in love and humanity no ones God will ever damn you. Also I use to get so mad at the Christians who condemned us who said we would go to "hell" and we were just wrong. I have come to not hate them anymore for it was making me no better then them. Too much blood has been shed in the name of "GOD" we just need to learn that being different is ok and it's our business who and what we believe

I am in totaly agree with you. If they were the same "god" then we would not have all these agruments about how wrong our way of life is.
Look at the world today they do not understand the balance and how unbalnced this world is. The Goddess has been neglected for far to long and now we are all feeling her wrath. But again that is just my personal openion.
May the God's and Goddess live and be celebrated in all the glory they deserve like they were in the old day's.

The Primal God is the source from which all "God(s)" flow and is as unknowable/inconceivable to the human mind as a bacterium is unable to conceive of a human being. While all "God(s)" flow from the same source and might have similar threads, they aren't the same. Where a Glacier, a River and an Ocean all have the commonality of being water coming from a similar source, they are not the same thing at all.

I respectfully disagree.
Thor seems different from Marduk to me.
Yet to the ancient Romans, Thor and Jupiter were the same and Jupiter and Zeus were the same. Meanwhile, to the Hellenistic Greeks, Marduk and Zeus were the same.
I really think the divine realm is a continuum, not a bunch of pigeon-holes.

first of all ,all gods are the same and if not my god the one the only would destroy Thor ......Thor couldn't hit a fly yet alone stand up to even the site of my god and your god the all mighty father of Jesus.+ Thor is just a Myth and they only make comics for him because they feel sorry for him because he sucks so bad.

I respect your right to your beliefs, but I respectfully disagree with "Everyone is right. No one is wrong." Certainly the Nazis and the KKK are wrong, to begin with. A person can be completely sincere and yet dead wrong. When someone claims "There is no absolute truth," I wonder, "then there cannot an absolute truth that there is not absolute truth."
You are right. We do not worship the same god. But my God loves you :)

i totally agree.. I'm christian.. but i don't always be live in what the church tells me what to be live. i think that there are many different gods and Christians cant just go around telling other people that their god is the same! it isn't fair that some people categorize them!!

thats' ok that the Christian God is not your god, If you want to worship an image with eyes that cannot see, ears that cannot hear, a mouth that cannot speak, an inanimate object withno power to do anything. go on enjoy yourself, just remember that when you get there, the only way out of hell, was the one living God that you wanted nothing to do with.

I believe that my God is the only God - the one true God, so I don't think there is another being at all like Him.
