I am a plain Christian who believes in God's Holy Word. I believe the Scriptures to be true for a number of reasons.
1. All the different prophecies that were fulfilled in the person of Yeshua (Jesus the Christ)
2. It is the only Book in existence that has made prophecies about the future that we are seeing being fulfilled today.
3. If Christianity and the Bible are false than the human race has no hope.
4. God has placed within the pages of Scripture plain code and complex codes for us to find concerning His Son and the future.
Yes, I feel that I have a relationship with God. I express some of that in my art, which you can see at www.artwanted.com/James26694

I perceive the bible the same way I perceive the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. I have no relationship with god because I am very much in touch with reality.

I am a Pagan.

To me, the Bible is a collection of mildly interesting ancient stories.

My relationship with Deity is very close and intense. God is not a remote being far off in fantasyland, but immanently present in everything around us.

A collection of myths, superstitions, and vague history written down cuenturies after the supposed events happened by a tribe of desert nomads that died out 2000 years ago. No relevance to modern reality, science, or history.

The King James version I am sure your referring too. A tome re-written, translated and re-written and translated, edited and so forth over the centuries. Im sure it is, word for word, the words GOD spoke to the various authors and shall remain true in its meaning without alterations for atlest a few more milleniums. God willing and bless all them purplemonkeydishwahers.

Young Preacha,
I am a Protestant Christian for 20 years + .

"How do you perceive the Bible?"
It's the inspired word of God. (Not inerrant!!!) It's that which we have to read to also get inspired, for correction, and direction. It clearly shows the spiritual connection or lack thereof of a person who attempts to understand it. A very good litmus test.

"Do You have a relationship with God?"
Yes. And it keeps getting better. As long as I stay in touch, and in line with Him. He's not on my side, I'm on His side. That's important for me to pay attention to for it to continue favorably for me.

I am agnostic. I view the Bible as irresponsible writings. It preaches in such a way as to promote bigotry. It even goes as far as to encourage violence to those who do not obey the words in the pages of it. It says things like; 31:15 “Whosoever shall work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death”. This is absolutely ludicrous and irresponsible. It also encourages people to say things like go to hell, well not actually in those words but saying you are going to burn in hell unless you accept Jesus as your savior is a nice way of saying go to hell.
