My ex husband says that his taxes were intercepted for back pay child support. This has been since FEB it is now 7 mos later and I have not recieved anything yet. I have called the local child support enforcement and they say that they have'nt recieved anything. I dont now wht to do-please help?

Were you collecting welfare for any of that time? If so that money has to be paid back to them. Women that collect welfare do not get the back child support. If you were not collecting welfare you or your lawyer needs to contact the IRS to find out why it has not reached the support office yet.

Call taxation again and explain that you have not received the child support payments...go to your child support office and start kicking up a stink. They should be making sure that you get the money. Tell them that your ex says that they took the money...they should have it at the enforcement office. Tell them you haven't received anything, and he says he paid it. They can hassle him

The transfer of money from one gov't agency to another may take awhile. Also, because it is for back owed child support, if the state has already given you money or you have collected welfare during that time you will not see any of that money.

OMG- ME TOO! only I havent called them yet whats the deal? Do you get any benefits? cuz someone told me once if you do that the state takes the child support. But i dont and I havent gotten it yet either.

Don't believe in your husband,probably he is lying just like my husband's ex.If it was true they would be able to tell you where the money is.

call the irs they will let you know who put the order on that and who got the money maybe hes b/s ing you.
