Christians will tell you that if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, you will indeed end up in hell.
I believe hell is right here.

Well first we cannot be the judge of anything so it would be hard to answer the question without judging someone.
Though when you are saved as a christian by accepting Jesus Christ into your life, you recieve the Holy Spirit, and once you are saved, you have The Lord in your life, if you go and join a non-christian church, you could of truly never had the real church in you to start with, because once you are saved, you are saved, and know right from wrong through the spirit.

If you are a Christian....and have surrendered your life to Christ...and later recant that....and join a Church that does not abide in the teachings of Christ (or believe in Jesus/God/Etc..) then yes, that person has officially turned his back on Christianity.
Remember, there are countless thousands of Christians that are not going to get into Heaven. It isn't about going to Church on Sundays and just "believing" in Jesus. The Devil believes in Jesus too. You have to be walking in the Word of God and DOING as He instructed. I can read the Bible 24/7 and not make it into Heaven.

You don't go to heaven or hell by what church you belong to! The question is...do you belong to Jesus? Have you asked Him to be your Lord? When you accept Christ into your heart and your sins are forgiven then you become part of the "beloved", the household of God.You become a new creature in Christ, you become part of the holy priesthood. It is not a name of a church that saves you, it is Christ.

yeah sorry dude, but when you die God draws on whether you followed him when you died, not when you were a kid. Non-Christian churches tend to believe in things like reincarnation and next life stuff that isn't true so do yourself a favor and stay away

of course not....hell is within your mind along with heaven in the chrsitian way....if you leave its nothing to worry because it will be the same way either way....who said the other ppl who did great things and werent christain going?
