Who is to say that is Jesus/God?

Is that a false idol the bible warns us about?

Jesus is God

We know that "no one can See God and live" (Ex. 33:20).

The prophet lsaiah said: "Verily Thou art a God that H1DETH Thyself, O God of Israel, . . " (Isa. 45:15).

The New Testament claims that: "God is SPlRlT ......" (John 4:24).

The Almighty said: "Do not I fill heaven and earth..?" (Jer. 23:24).

As a Spirit Being He is omnipresent - but also invisible, as confirmed by the apostle Paul in the Christian New Testament: "Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever" (1 Tim. 1:17).

"Who alone has immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom NO MAN HAS EVER SEEN OR CAN SEE" (1 Tim. 6:16).

John 1:1
In the beginning was the WORD, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God.

God Almighty is a spirit creature and Ex. 33:20 explains that no-one can look upon God Almighty and yet live. That is because he is too powerful and glorious for human eyes and He dwells in bright light. He would have to materialize to be seen but you could not live and it will never happen, although with God all things are possible. John 1:18 also explains this. It also makes the point that the only-begotten god [ God Almighty's son whom we know as Jesus] is the one who explains his Father and is in the bosom position with him, meaning that he is the closest of all creation to God Almighty. If you have seen a picture of God it is from someone's imagination. That is true about Jesus also because one could only imagine what he looked like as a man walking the earth. He was a perfect man while all of the rest of mankind is imperfect, having inherited death and imperfection from the original pair, Adam and Eve. Scriptures that prove that God Almighty and Jesus are not one and the same, which is ludicrous to say the least, are Matt. 3:17, John 8:42, 14:28 and 20:17, 1 Cor.11:3 and 15:28. Also read Col.1:15 and Rev. 3:14 to verify that Jesus is God Almighty's son and the first-born of His creative powers. I don't think I've ever heard of or seen a picture of God other than His creation all around me. In the Bible, when people look directly at God, they die. Moses asks to see God, and God tells him that the best he can hope for is to see where He (God) has just been.

You know this is a really bad question don't you? You know that no one has a picture of God or Jesus so why ask this? And just because it says that one dies after looking upon God in the Bible doesn't mean it really happens.

God is the end result of a failed search for truth by a very shallow mind, provided that any search was made at all instead of swallowing the pile of delusional bilge that was spoon fed to you as a child

shotgunx2z,I believe when one attains a state of spiritual awareness of their oneness with GOD,then at some point they will move into union with GOD. (UNCONDITIONAL LOVE) I believe when this union occurs one loses all sense of self seperate and apart from GOD. Your physical body may die but you are the life of the body, you lived before the body and you will live after it is gone.
