You raise an excellent point. I am a Christian and I wonder the same thing why more Christians to take a stand for what Christ actually taught (in the work place, at home and in the world). You know what the problem is, don't you? The problem is, is that even though a Christian is a Christian it doesn't mean that he/she will not still fall prey to the three enemies a believer has. The Devil, the World and The Flesh (the flesh means our inherent weakness because we are human)
You do raise a Good point though and Christians should do better than they do, but it is awfully hard when you live in a modern Sodom and Gomorrah (USA).

Because many think they can take want they want and leave what they want, but it does not work that way, it isn't a cafeteria, God has the law, and we must follow it, and have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is All or nothing, because accepting Jesus as your saviour is following The Lord, and that is the greatest gift anyone can recieve by letting The Holy Spirit be thier guide in life..

Like I said, hypocrites. And I'll also say this again because you didn't make the last question I put this as.
The bible was created by a bunch of his lovely disciples or whatever Christians call them. Mark, Luke, John, Paul, whoever else. Were just a bunch of people who decided to make a bible. Said they got their words from their God and gave the book to people. Needless to say people are stupid enough to believe them, so... *shrug*

There are more ways to believe in God and to please God than attending religious college. The Pharisees and teachers of the Law were Bible experts--and they tried to kill the Son of God!
Full-time dedication to religion is no guaratee of a God-pleasing life.
There is a time to study, a time to pray, a time to act, and a time to love. And time for things that don't look holy but are pleasing in God's sight.
(If you don't believe me, study some of the things God had his prophets do!)

I think that as with most things we are very "I" centered. We think that everything is all about us or we respond "in the flesh and not in the spirit." Instead of putting God first we tend to put self first. Then when things don't go quite right, we remember to check with HIM!! Wrong order.
