After smoking for 5 years, I decided to quit. And it works. I haven't smoked in 10 days and I don't feel the need to. But there is one problem. My face is full of pimples. It hasn't been so bad since puberty. By the way, I'm 20 now (male).

That's not to worry about. You body is just under a major change due to your quitting smoking. Once it has adjusted to the new reality the pimples will go away. Just leave them alone and don't press or push or scratch them open (if you do then disinfect with rubbing alcohol immediately).

You may experience more side effects of stopping smoking. But all of those will ultimately settle. And you will feel how your body gets healthier and healthier and improves in strength. And skin quality.

One side effect - which can be a reason for the showing of the pimples is that you may have changed another habit when quitting smoking. Perhaps instead of smoking a cigarette you are chewing some chocolate? Or more french fries? If there is anything you can identify you do different now compared to before quitting then perhaps leave that away or reduce it.

Good move!

Even though you stopped smoking 10 days ago, your body is still trying to get rid of years of toxins. It will take a while. Just keep your face clean by using an exfoliating sponge ( Buf-Puf or store brand is good) and a gentle soap ( Dove or Basis) both morning and ESPECIALLY at night.

It could be that your body is getting rid of all the "bad" toxins ... give it about 2 months... and try maybe washing your face more often.
