Has anyone built a helmet mounted camera kit for filming activities eg ski, biking? What is involved?
I have seen a company that rents them at Heavenly and would like to buy or build my own.

i havent actually seen any helmet mounted camera kits, although theyre out there, but i do know about a car mount kit that could be used to mount to a helmet pretty easily. they use suction cups, and yes, i was thinking the same exact thing your thinking, but they actually are strong (from what the guy says that tested them). and after your done shooting your action sports footage, you could do extreme car chases as well. cool huh? obviously just remember to try it with a cheap cam first. hope this helps!

It is just a kit with simple directions to put them together. I do know that there are helmets that work better than others with it, but I only know for dirtbiking.

do no longer do it. unlawful, unsafe, all that stuff. And in case you imagine we do not know what we are speaking about then bypass ahead and do it. do exactly not say " I messed with my helmet - who am i able to sue cos my reminiscence and mind function isn't what it replaced into ? I surely had one undesirable crash even as i replaced into driving motorcycles. My head bounced up the line plenty. Its a lengthy time period in the past and the helmets were no longer as sturdy then as they're actually. properly, i do not dribble and may carry a sensible communique .... !! yet are you going to threat your mind ??? you've one bypass at existence.
