I think because of stereotypes. Just like some women want to be a with black guys b/c they are supposed to have big "members".
Or like white women are freaks in bed, all black women have big butts, well crap I'm white and have a butt that my black girl friends are jealous of (their words not mine)
People hear about sterotypes and rumors and want to find out what the hype is all about.
Stereotypes are not a good thing. They generalize a group of people. It shouldn't be about race. It should be about the person. No Stereotype is 100% correct and never will be. Each person is an individual not a group.

I can speak for myself and a few others that many black women aren't attracted to guys like me. My personality is different, my goals are different. My tastes are different in music, clothing, etc. Many don't see me as black or black enough. Women who happen to be white gravitiate towards me for who I am and what I do. and they appreciate my looks more.
