Then the rest may follow

Try walking instead of driving. Get involved in stopping the global warming. It is getting scary about Iceland melting making the oceans rise 20 ft which would wipe out Florida, some of the smaller northeastern states, and some countries !It can happen within 1 or 2 decades because it is happening faster than first thought! There will be millions migrating inland or drowned. When the Arctic melts in the future and another 20 ft floods and swamps the Americas and many countries, there will be few ppl left on earth. God did promise to not destroy the earth again by water but will part of it be destroyed and are we prepared for it?We haven't been prepared for other smaller disasters or for terroists and illegals swamping and destroying our lives. We need to work toegether to slow down the melting process which we spoiled ppl have started due to wanting more and more!

Teach children to respect and love Nature.
Avoid uncontrolled pregnancies.
Don't buy huge vehicles just to presume.
Do not scatter waste into the environment.
Don't start wild fires. Punishments for such crimes should be made more severe.

Which gives me an idea to reverse some damages.

Burned or bare areas could be reforested quickly by planting an intelligent mixture of thousands of fast growing new trees and plants FROM THE AIR!
.
Reforestation can be achieved more efficiently and cost effectively from the air, by bombarding the areas from planes and helicopters with seeds or small plants grown in conservatories, (instead of bombs for a change). It has the advantage of scattering the plants randomly and in the mixture of species we choose.

Special biodegradable vessels should be developed to carry the plants or seeds with the initial nutrients. They should penetrate sufficiently into the ground, and allow the roots to emerge from them in due time.

This is just an idea which needs to be developed, tested and improved experimentally for practical cost effective results, in order to minimize the unavoidable statistical number of vessels that will fail.

How about starting reclaiming damaged areas and perhaps a few new deserts?
Will such a project generate enough economic interest?
Would it be politically correct?

Human culture and our health & happiness are threatened with our pursuit of lifestyles that are not sustainable and do not make us as healthy & happy as possible. The current aspirational industrial and consumer growth society model is not sustainable on this finite world.

Any change requires a change in our attitude - there are other ways of living which can help us enjoy life and fulfill the potential of our lives.

Planet earth probably doesn't need saving; it will heal itself after the end of humanity

Why on earth would you want to save the Human race in the first place? Look at us? Look at our stupidity, greed, wars, terrorism, destruction of the environment, nuclear arsenals etc. Best move, kill off 90% of them, but that would only put us back a few years. Sooner or later we would be back doing the same stupid things.

i have the solution. shame its never going to happen,

1. all nuclear weapons to be destroyed.
2. all oil to stop bieng extracted from the earth
3. all electricity supplies to be turned off
4. all humans to return to living how we did 500 years ago.

sure things won't be as fun as they are now but we would survive past the next 100 or so years, which at the moment i really doubt we will.

End religion, lower population, use green technology, kill all right-wing republicans (self defense). Get some eggs in other baskets, like colonies on the Moon and in the Asteroid Belt and then head for the stars.

First to reduce gradually the world population.
