If the shelters and animal control won't help you, try contacting your local police department. Stop emailing. If possible, go to the shelters or to the A/C office.

Your mom is WRONG when she says it's "none of your business". It is your business. It's everyone's business when an animal is being abused or neglected.

Thank you for caring and trying to do something to help these dogs.

Again, if the shelters won't help you, and the police won't help you, then contact http://www.peta.org

Thanks again for standing up for these dogs.

It depends on what you consider neglect. If they have water, shelter, and are being fed, MYOB. Just because someone doesn't keep their animals like someone else thinks they should doesn't neam the are neglected.

I can't believe how many people on here would just call AC when they don't have any real information about the situation. Glad you people don't live in MY town. Calling AC on someone is a VERY nasty thing to do, they often seize animals for little or no reason. Do it only if you are sure the animal is not getting water, food, or shelter.

I dont think so. I think you need the consent of an adult. Call your local SPCA and tell them what is going on with the neglected dogs. Let them receive the fine for animal cruelty.

Sure, I don't see why not. If your mom agrees then call up your local police department and tell them they're being neglected. When they get all the information and actually check it out make sure you tell them you're definitely interested in adopting them when they're back from the required vets they go to.

a few weeks ago i stole a dog from my neighbours garden as shed gone to portugul and left it in her back garden. i refused to give it back on her return. there wasnt much she could really do as she would ov been done with neglect. i have since rehomed this dog to family member and he is happy. so if your daughter does rescue these poor dogs then she doesn't have to keep them but she could rehome them. she'll proberbly be doing your neighbour a favour but at least the dogs won't b suffering any more. good luck.

You should definately call the authorities, that is animal cruelty. Go about it in a legal way so no one gets into trouble. Get those poor dogs out of that situation.
