I dont know why i let this get to me but yesturday in the morning my bf took some money from me and i asked him what he did with it and he said he put it in his gas tank. i looked in his dressor to get something and he had exactly the money he took from me. That didnt bother me i just shook it off like maybe he's about to use it 4 gas. Now all while we been going together (8mos) he has been lying telling me he was a year older than he really was. His sister was telling me his real age but i never asked him about it. I looked on his Id just to be looking at his pic and he came in the room . It didnt even cross my mind to look at his birth date but i did and he got mad and said im too nosy. Now why in the hell would anybody lie to the one that they want to be with want to marry about something so petty and little. I was thinking if he lied about something that little like his age and some money, he is probable keeping something else from me to i should know about.
would u be mad??

no getting mad wont fix anything. on the other hand you have a right to end the relationship guilt free as he is not honest and he defends his lies with getting upset with you for seeing his lies stay with him it will end very bad for you leave him now and find someone you can trust.

Yes I would be mad. In a relationship you should be truthful with each other. If someone asks me my age I gladly tell them lying is stupid because it means you are hiding something or covering up something that you did. In my opinion you should get rid of him and find someone else. In a relationship I would never lie to the girl that I would most likely marry as some point in the future. If this person has to lie then that means they have a guilty conscious.

First why are you giving him money for gas? I would run the other way, if he is going to lie about his age then you can only imagine what he will lie about later. And then it will be to late because you will have invested a lot of time into a dreadful relationship and you will be more worried about trying to keep it together then the lies he keeps telling you! You need someone trustworthy, and who will be completely honest with you. Like me!

If he's lying about his age or money - I guarantee you he's lying about other stuff - and it might not be as nice and fluffy as what you're describing.
If that's okay with you - then fine - but I think he wants out of the relationship and is too lazy to quit. He'll keep doing stupid little things like this and you'll keep getting madder and madder, then he'll accuse you of being a nag - and you'll say that you just want him to tell you the truth.....

He's a liar. Why are you even asking *if* you should be mad? You can't figure out how you feel hun? I know when I'm mad sad disturbed or whatever. You should be mad, sad and feel betrayed. He called you nosy after he lied? He should have had his tail between his legs, and is simply redirecting. It's simple manipulation that you fell for rather easily. I'd nail him in the balls and tell him to move his happy *** on.

Maybe the gas money was a misake.

Just give him the benefit of doubt and see if u can spot any more lies ....if u do then bail out.

Kick that liar to the curb! You can most definitely do better than him. He's lying about the small stuff now but mark my words he will only get worse once he finds out that you are not going to do anything about it. Save yourself some grief and dump that loser now!

Oh yeah, that is really weird. I don't see why he would be lieing about such small things. And your right, he probably hides bigger things from you. He might not be the person you think he is, he might be a compulsive liar and might need help. That's if he is willing. However, your in for a ride.

Not only would I be mad, I would be running the other way. This guy is a compulsive lair and he will lie about everything for no good reason. opps lets not forget he is a petty thief too! dump him and find somebody who respects you.

i'd be PISSED. lying about his age after eight months? thats pathetic. if he's as half as close has he thinks he is with you he would have told you that a long time ago. if hes lying and taking your money and stupid small things like that, there's probably a lotttt more bigger things that he's lying about. if he's lying about his age, seems like there's something to hide. there's GOT to be more to that.
