Is it to cheer him on or to distract him?

Say someone is standing on the ledge of a 10 story building and everyone is either waiting for him to jump or get rescued. Its the same kind of excitement for these people when Tiger hits the ball, they "exhale together" releasing their stress (its called a STRESSOR) because he's a hero to them (there are other fans at other holes following other golfers, these people are at Tiger's hole because they are reporters or are HIS fans). So, its alot of excitement to see a "hero" do something he's KNOWN FOR! Which is to pull out a bogey or eagle while YOU'RE THERE!

LOL yea it's annoying. Whenever he putts someone will yell GET IN THE HOLE, oddly enough the voice always sounds the same, I think this guy stalks Tiger.
Also when Tiger hits irons to get on the green they'll yell STICK IT.

Oooh, that makes me sick! Why can't they just shut the h*** up!
They just want their voices on tv.
Nobody even cares who you are, people! Don't bother!
If you want to cheer him, do it after the ball is hit and he's walking away, not as soon as the club hits the ball!
Hams!

It sure is annoying to me when they yell, "In the hole!". Some times he's driving it from 600 yards and there is NO WAY its going in so I don't know why people are that silly.
