probably because he doesnt want to seem "corny" around his friends or like he's too tied down at an early age or something. but when he's with you, privately and deep down, he is planning to have a future, but just isn't ready to admit it yet. that's how my boyfriend is!

This really isn't good. Not necessarily a sign of impending disaster, but at the very least something needs to be done.

Two-facedness is insincerety. Translated: IT'S LYING. He's living a lie with you at some level. Left unabated, it'll develop into a double-life.

Now grab the trowel, go out in the garden and dig up whatever is out there hiding. I would try the good route first. Try calmly and quietly bringing it up in a manner where he won't feel threatened-

"Honey, there's something bothering me. You seem to act differently around others when it comes to us. You say things that are very different than what we talk about. It hurts me inside, and I need you to explain to me if you think this is serious, or why you do it..." or something more in line with how you talk to him.

Only through knowing that there's a speeding train heading for you can you step out of the way. Maybe you'll be able to resolve it with him.

Best

Men are like this. My bf acts different sometimes around other people too. It is a macho thing, it has to be. I get confused, frustrated and angry when he acts like this because it feels like an insult to me. Talk to him about it when you are alone and see what he says, why he does this. If he keeps it up, embarrass him and say, "Well, that is not what you said to me an 1 hour ago."
Sometimes you just have to get mad, maybe he doesn't realize he is doing this or doesn't think it is affecting you. Communication is key.

I guess there's your answer. If he did not want to be tied down right now, why did you guys buy a car and house?

Well if he told you the truth would you have sex with him? Nope, so he is saying what he thinks you want to hear. Confront him, and find out where he stands. If you are ok with it then leave it be, if not move on to somebody who wants you.

He's smart enough to tell you what you want to hear, so he can get into your panties

Then, if he's smart, just kick your azz to the side of the road and move on to the next vagina

Dump him. some boys have deep issues that cause them to act like assholes when they are around other penis-ed people. He'll probably cheat in the future.

Because that's the way men are they are confused. They don't want their friends to know how they really feel.

men are like that - they want to seem 'mushy' with you to get your feelings going, then when with friends they will play the mocho part so they are not made fun of by the friends.
