I pulled out before cumming the first time then waited about 10 minutes before going at it again, then pulled out a second time before cumming. I know there is a possiblity of semen resing in the tip to get into the vagina, but I would like to know if the amount of sperm that gets around the vaginal area affects the chances of fertility. I'm not looking for a "It's not safe anytime!" answer...I'm asking if this decreases probability at all.

Any sperm that gets inside the vaginal area stays in a active phase for up to 48 hours after it has entered the female body. Sperm are very resilant. But outside the body they die soon after unless the ideal temperature is provided such as a vagina. It keeps them ol' boys nice and toasty. Now if you have some drips or leaks, all they need to do (the sperm) is keep swimming up which is in there natural programsing, after all,... they have a 48 hour countdown. Just one drop even a little leak has tons of soldiers running around, enough to do the right kinda damage if you know what I mean.

Even though there is less sperm, and that could decrease in small fractions the possibility of pregnancy, it is never safe at anytime. Remember, it only takes one little guy to make it all the way to make you a father. Wear a condom, it is more effective. Also I must inform you of a little thing known as pre-ejaculatory fluid. You have little swimmers in there as well.

pulling out does decrease the possibility. Best thing though if you don't use condoms or she doesn't do birth control- which i would recommend first. Get spermicidal lubricant. That way, it coats her on the inside and maybe rub some on her on the outside too? And, always advise that she takes a shower after, with soap.

There is a less change of pregnancy because you pulled out, but there is still a chance. In the future use condoms or as your girlfriend to get on the pill. You are probablly ok, but I wouldn't continue to risk it.

My husband has been pulling out for a year now and I have not gotten pregnant. But it does take just one sperm to get pregnant.
