Jesus was and is God. He was the "exact image" of the Father. He was God inside a human suit. He showed mankind an example to follow. As a humble leader, He most certainly would not have worshipped Himself. He exalted The Creator who sent Him, and Whom He assisted in forming all of Creation.
Just for something different find an understandable version of the New Testament and read it - especially the book of John.

Still it is more logic, than claiming that God Prayed for ur mohamad, salla el lah 3alaihi wa sallam... do u think that it is logic that God prays for someone he had created ?? Even atheists don't insult God as u do in what u call it quran.... God pray ??? And for ur information Mr. Ahmed that we believe in God,Jesus, and Holy Spirit, as a Holy Trinity, which sure u can't understand it, till maybe after thousands of year, coz ur mentality blocks ur mind, in order to understand what's going on, and to be developed. All what u think about is how u gonna have sex all the time, by getting married to four ladies at once, and how to bomb ur self and kill people,in order to go straight to heaven ( JIHAD) where u can have as much as u like from gay boys, girls, and rivers of yogurt and honey. Can u deny what am saying that is false,and not mentioned in quran ?? Anyways thank u Mr. Ahmad for ur question, since it gave me chance to give the western people a quick idea about ur relegion. Christians want to believe that Jesus died for their sins so they have a scapegoat. However, according to their bible, women are cursed (original sin). Hmmm, and where in the bible does it instruct them to worship Jesus instead of or along side with God?
In fact, Jesus preached the worship of ONE GOD and never asked to be worshipped himself.
But I can understand that Christians want the easier road than to be accountable themselves for their inequities.

when Jesus was on earth as a man, people did not worship him but now he is not a man anymore. The man part of him worshiped god. but he is God.

Jesus came in the form of Gods Son, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are one, we receive the Holy Spirit when we accept The Father and The Son, Jesus was following his father when Jesus Christ came as a sacrifice for our sins, The Father never left his side except, when he took on our sins at the cross, for that minute, until Jesus was ressurected, now Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus is One with God. He thanked his Heavenly Father for the graces he bestowed on him and doing so he gave us all an example of what a true believer really is. He came for us, not for himself.

Jesus is God. If you don't understand perhaps actually reading the New Testament can help you. I don't claim to be a Christian, but I have read a great deal of the bible and highly recommend it.
