hey i am a freshman and to young to drive should i pick up my date with my parents or meet her there

It would be a nice gesture to pick up your date at her house and such, but picking her up with the parents driving would be rather weird, in my opinion. There would be lots of opportunities for mom and dad to embarrass you some how or another. Having a taxi pick you up and then her up comes to mind, but that would be a little on the tacky side. Your best bet I think would be to just meet her there.
However, don’t overlook your parents completely. I’ve known several teens that were on a very good level with their parents. If you think your parents would be okay to take you and your date, and not humiliate you in front of her I’d say give it a try. Might be a good way to introduce her to your parents in a non-threatening way, and if for some reason some thing dose go amiss, the drive [I imagine] would be pretty short and you can escape quickly.
I’m not a parent, but trust me, they do want to be a part of your life, they do want to help, and they are interested in what you do. So, don’t brush them off completely.

Do you have any mutual friends that can drive I would try that instead it seems kind of informal to meet her but terrible to go with your parents.

Are you kidding me. You pick her up!!! You take her flowers, you meat her parents and mined your manners. Open the car door for her and make her feel like she is the prettiest girl in the world. I guarantee you will have a lot of girls wanting to go out with you.

even though it might be weird but you should go with your parents or just one of them to pick her up. dont' meet her there because everygirl wants to show up with her date so she doesn't look like she's alone or her date left her.
either way... you have to go with your parents if your to young to drive.
